| 1165. Georgian Black Dot Paste necklace. This Georgian paste necklace is circa 1730-1760 and is sterling silver with 9k gold coating the back. This was done to prevent tarnish getting on clothing. Georges-Frederic Strass was the most famous creator of these stones where a black dot was hand painted on the base on the leaded glass stone. These fine Georgian paste pieces are very scarce and are a real treasure in this condition. The necklace is 15" long and about 1/4" across. $3,500.00 |      |
