| 205. Archie and Yvonne Teague signed vase. Archie threw the vase and Yvonne decorated it. It is hard to read in the picture showing the signatures, saying the vase was decorated by Yvonne. This is one of 2 of these vases known. I do not own the other and I do not know who does. The Teagues are a well known North Carolina pottery family and Archie threw large pots and vase for the Coles. The vase is about 20" high and about 10" wide. Made in America $525.00 |    |

It is glazed over terracotta and is in good condition except for several glaze chips of a few of the outside points. I have tried to photograph them. | 259. Henri Plissons, Paris France pottery sculpture of coach with figures. Henri Plissons was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1934 as Patrick Joseph Ryan and died in 2006. Patrick Joseph Ryan received a master in art in 1958. He was known for his impressionist paintings and created the name of Henri Plissons for his art. He had quite a following of movie actors who sought to acquire his art. This impressionistic pottery coach and figurine composition is very interesting with is demonstration of movement. The coach is slanting during the ride and the glaze runs together through the composition contributing to the movement feel. There is a repair on the woman's umbrella and there is a missing portion on the carriage lead. The pottery composition is about 11" long, 4/1/4" across, and 6" high. It is signed on the base Henri Plissons Paris France with a impressed symbol. $125.00 |      |
